December was much slower over previous months because of the holidays, however; there was still a steady stream of sales in the Freehold and Condo market and the average sale price continued to grow year over the year. The biggest surprise was a drop in the average price of semi-detached homes which saw prices decline 4.4% over 2013. This could be have been caused by various factors, including the amount of inventory available and buyers actively looking. Detached homes still continue to have the largest price increase with the average price increasing 8% over 2013. We expect to continue to see the prices increase on detached homes throughout 2015.
