There were a lot of new products and great ideas this year at the Interior Design show that was held at the Metro Convention Centre Jan 23rd -26th. Here is a quick breakdown of some of the cool trends we found.
White appliances seem to be making a comeback. Miele had a fabulous showcase that shows that white appliances can be cool and make a kitchen look sexy.
Is broadloom making a comeback as well? There was plenty of carpet and area rug displays including this custom printed broadloom that can you print with whatever image you want.
Para Paints displayed its colour forecast for 2014 and it included some funky colours such as Plantain Chips, Avocado Shake and Cobalt Ice.
There was no shortage of luxury bathtub displays including this custom wooden bathtub with rain shower head.
Ikea really demonstrated how glamorous their kitchens can be with this wonderful showroom containing chandeliers, grey cupboards, marble counters and gold hardware with a matching gold wallpapered ceiling.
Altius RSA showed how amazing and modern a prefab home the can look with their RSA SOLO40, 480 sq. ft one bedroom showroom complete with a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
